Gin Rummy HD - The Best Online Card Game! App Reviews

I like the actual look of this app. Its much more appealing than any other gin rummy app out there. BUT it continues to be buggy. Ive written to the developers numerous times, but nothing seems to change. Turn-based games could use a lot of improving. I dont know if people are just plain rude, not paying attention, or if the app is failing to notify them, but all too often people join games and never play. If one forfeits a game because her opponent is inactive and shed like to free up a game to start another with someone who will actually play, she loses the game. If one waits for the inactive opponent to take a turn and the opponent fails to do so after 14 days, she still loses the game (even when she has the higher score). Why should my ranking be affected by inconsiderate people?? Im not even going to get into how much this app was ruined when Trivial Technology made turn-based games so unbelievably tedious by having to access ones next game by going through an extra screen/menu EACH AND EVERY TIME (like they did with their cribbage app). But unlike the cribbage app, theres no way to "nudge" or remind an opponent its his/her turn to play. Regarding online games, there are way too many poor sports out there who dont finish games simply because they dont like the hand theyre dealt. Its unfair to those of us who arent amateurs or poor sports. There should be a mark on the records of players who do that, and players who dont shouldnt have to be matched up with them. I highly suggest some kind of system be put in place so that serious players can be matched up with opponents who are actually going to finish turn-based and online games. What a concept. This app was so much better when it first came out. How (after making money on it) the developers have managed to send it downhill is beyond me.

Can connect to a game with the friend. We use all this companies apps so its not like we dont know how to do it. Please fix.

Come on...5 times out of six the computer is down in a draw or two? Too much computer cheating

I wrote the review below a few days ago and Im happy to say that I finally got the update loaded and Im enjoying this game again. Back to 5 stars! Ive played hundreds of games of Gin Rummy and really enjoy it, but the latest update wont load. Ive been trying ever since the 21st and it never finishes loading. Im frustrated.

Im so tired of developers hassling me for reviews. So, heres you review. BTW, the game cheats.

The developer of this game I think are nice people because even their free version is worth playing. They dont overwhelm it with ads I have played their other games such as solitaire and free cell and those are the ones in addition to Gin that I play all the time. They also are good with any questions, responding in a timely fashion. I noticed the reference by other reviewers about cheating, that Im not sure of. Sometimes I have thought that there is a problem with this purely being random. There are times when I did run into patches where I thought it impossible that the computer could go down in like somebody else said here a couple of passes but on balance is not happening all the time, not enough to make me totally chuck the game.

Loved this game until the recent update. Peer to peer freezes, motion speeds are either too slow or really jerky. It was a great game until you ruined it. My wife and I would play for hours, now we are deleting it and giving up on my purchase.

I like the app and play it a lot. The one thing that would improve the game would be to combine the Hollywood mode with the Omaha mode. That way you could play Hollywood with a knock card, which is the way that the game is usually played.

Frequently crashes and wont reload without restart. Great game when it works.

No complaints. Makes you drag card instead of tap to avoid errors. Looks well thought out.

Sometimes experience scoring errors, which update themselves as the next hand is dealt. Glad they 86d the ability to freeze the game by holding up play, but sometimes the wrong player is awarded the win.

Love the ability to play on my own or with friends!

This is one of the better build Rummy games out there. I will give it 5 stars. I will give one star to those who dont finish their games because they are loosing. Sheesh! Everyone loses sometimes. Get over your self!

A little heavy in the odds towards the computer. Whoever wrote the code made sure youre not gong to win. Who knocks 5 out if 6 times in a row after drawing 1 card??!! Sorry, but this only gets a 1-star until they even things up.

For whatever reason, it no longer works on my iPad. When it worked, it was awesome. I especially liked how high the max points could go.

I hate apps that bother me for a review. So here is a 1 star review for your troubles. Youre welcome. Apps shouldnt make you try and review them.

Please fix your games I bought most and they have not been working right or at all , Ive been playing for a long time now , sad I cant play gin rummy and spite and hearts please fix
